When I was approaching 40 years old, I was addicted and lost deep connections to almost everyone I was close with. I was not being truthful to myself and others. I was told that if I did not step away and find recovery that I would not be alive for another year. I had to evaluate what I valued in life. This change took years, asking for help, accountability, finding joy in discomfort, and it was not a straight path.
I learned from a wise yogini that what I allowed myself to pay attention will create my human experience. That statement shifted me forever. What I was paying attention to did not serve myself or the world. I decided to dedicate a year to visualize my best health. I had an awakening after that year that magically connected me to a deeper purpose of “oneness.” I shifted to serving others with kindness and connection. I have found so many others that want to change and contribute and I have made it my mission to help us all connect better and find that oneness to each other and nature.
